Jeremiah's Journal

I'm on vacation in California this week, visiting with grandparents.. I'm helping them with some work and errands, and I like working for them, and I'm collecting quarters (getting paid).. I like eating here more too, because I want to grow bigger and stronger, so I can ride the roller coasters at the amusement park.. today I went with Daddy and Kevin to California Adventure, next to Disneyland.. it was fun, we walked around, saw a lot of things, and rode a few rides.. by afternoon, I was thirsty and over-tired, so I started crying and wailing a lot, because I wanted my old sprite like before, not a new one.. I said it many times, but Daddy wasn't getting me what I wanted.. it was very frustrating.. eventually I got what I wanted, and I quenched my thirst, and I was tired and took a nap nap on Daddy's shoulder. Tonight I got to see my old friend Brian after dinner, and then I put a railroad track set together while Daddy was visiting with an old friend of his.. it w...

I learned my first card game with Daddy this weekend, it's called Go Fish.. we play with my (mini) Pokemon cards, Daddy sorts out the red ones, and I get the black ones.. then we take 8 cards, and then we take turns asking each other for a card.. when Daddy asks me for a card, and I have it, then I give it to him, and he puts it on the table; but if I don't have it, I say "Go fishing." It's a fun game, I like it.. but Daddy won the first game, and we couldn't finish the next game because it was bed-time. I also took some more pictures with my Jam Cam .. and Mommy and Daddy are going to California with me this week, it will be lots of fun..

Mommy's getting hooked on eBay, bought all kinds of things for her collage art, and is also getting into the act and selling a few items too.. which means she needs to get on the computer more often, and that means I can't get online.. I recently re-discovered Kiddonet.com, my favorite.. I can't type journal entries yet, but I can type my name, Mommy's, and Daddy's.. I like being together with them, they're my friends.. yesterday we went on a family trip to another part of Maryland, by the water.. and we saw sailboats, and Mommy wants to go sailing, and I want to go sailing too.. it was a(n) eating day yesterday, so I had a grilled cheese and fries by the waterfront.. I had fun with my two friends there, Hannah and Meghan, they are twins but they don't look alike.. and in the courtyard, there was a water fountain and I put my feet in, shoes and all, and I got all wet.. I did it b/c [two days before] yesterday we went to a big round fountain at the sculpture ...

I'm becoming more and more of an artist, including some compositions I drew using crayon for Mommy on Mother's Day - see them at the Art Gallery , my signature is "jereMIAH" [pronounced: softly "jer-re", and loudly "MI-AH"!!] and I also got to visit g'rents in Winchester while Mommy and Daddy went to the Big City for their anniversary, where they met Elisabeth from Survivor II ... next time, I want to go with them TOGETHER..

thank you uncle DC ("unkie") for the frequent flyer miles, I went on this spontaneous free cross-country trip to so.cal for a week with Mommy (4/5 to 4/12)!! I had a great time, and we landed a great season pass deal at Sea World, where I saw Shamu the killer whale, and dolphins, and fishes.. there was more than one killer whale, a few of them, but I don't know the number.. I enjoyed a lot of time with Goongy and Poppy, I love the social atmosphere and hangin' out, it helps me sleep and have a good appetite too.. Mommy only had Jamba Juice twice this time.. yesterday morning I helped water the plants and flowers in Mommy's new garden with the new water hose.. it was fun to soak to soil.. yesterday afternoon I was taking a nap in the minivan when Daddy dropped off Mommy for a missions project, and we went to a playground, after I had a piece of carrot cake at Starbuck's, with a kid's special apple juice.. we walked by a flea market.. and at the playground, ...

I'm now 4-years old! I just spent the weekend in Winchester at Yeh-Yeh and Nigh-Nigh's while Mommy and Daddy enjoyed a marriage conference; my Uncle Deef took pictures with his digital camera, and I hope he puts them online for you to see soon.. I enjoyed THREE birthday parties last weekend (March 22-24) for my birthday: on Thursday we went to McDonald's with his church friends, Friday I had a birthday cake at my preschool, and Saturday was my real party at a local children's museum type of place, called IMAGINE THAT. The children's musuem is something my Mommy would have loved growing up with: all kinds of imaginary scenarios: a grocery store, ballet studio, art studio, fire engine, airplane, colonial schoolhouse, dollhouse, etc. all kid size. It encourages imagination and creativity. It was great! I had a blast with ten friends from school, and I got lots of gifts too!

The new year is rolling along very quickly. I like being at home and not eat out so much. I am growing bigger day by day, taller, not fatter. I will only eat some meats when I'm hungry; I don't like veggies. I do like VeggieTales. I've invented some new faces, and Daddy'll have to catch it with the digital camera some time so you can see them on my "Faces of Jeremiah" repetoire.
