I've returned from 2 road trips since the last entry: an early Christmas weekend in New York City (see photos), and a simple Christmas at (Yeh-yeh & Nai-Nai's) grandparents in Winchester. I can't believe so many of my photo albums are now offline and gone with the dot-bombs; Daddy found these news articles about PhotoPoint at Yahoo, AuctionGuild, and CNet about how PhotoPoint just upped itself and vanished into cyber-ether one day recently. Daddy's working on finding alternative solutions. Zing was another biggie that went dark a few months ago. Stay tuned.
From Home to Georgetown
My bike trip from home to Georgetown was tons of fun! I rode to the Capital Crescent Trail. The road was mostly flat, but a little bit crowded. After riding for some time, we came to a dark tunnel. The area around the road was very lush. Then we rode by a river or stream. The sight was elegant. We came to a canal and stopped by a bazaar. We came to some bumpy, wooden bridges. Georgetown was not far away. Arriving at Georgetown was very gratifying. I was very satisfied with myself. (* the above was a Personal Narrative Test I did for school, to write on a topic of a proud experience.)
